A New York City theatre company that has already toured more than 200 cities is embarking on an ambitious 100-city run of its signature production, backed by strategic partnerships aimed at amplifying Black voices and stories across America.
The Chad Cooper Company on Broadway has built its reputation through a combination of film and theatre, releasing four movies on worldwide platforms while touring its centerpiece work, “Justice On Trial,” to communities nationwide. Now, the company is expanding its reach through a collaboration with Sheen Magazine and Chapman Products of Greenville, South Carolina.
A Production That Resonates
The Off-Broadway social justice production blends theatre, music, history, faith, and social commentary into what founder and CEO Chad Lawson Cooper describes as more than entertainment. “Justice On Trial is more than a theatrical production—it is a movement that inspires dialogue, reflection, and hope,” Cooper said in announcing the partnership.
The production addresses the African American journey in America through a format that has proven its staying power. After touring more than 200 cities, the company is preparing to bring the show to major cities, historic theaters, churches, and cultural venues throughout the United States.
Strategic Partnerships Amplify Reach
The collaboration brings together three organizations with national and international recognition. Sheen Magazine, a lifestyle publication spotlighting influential voices in entertainment, business, and culture, will feature coverage of the tour and its cultural impact. Chapman Products joins the initiative through its entrepreneurial leadership and community engagement platform.
“Partnering with Sheen Magazine and Chapman Products strengthens our shared commitment to celebrating Black excellence and bringing meaningful storytelling to audiences across the nation,” Cooper noted.
The partnership represents a deliberate strategy to unite brands around themes of cultural empowerment and artistic achievement. For The Chad Cooper Company, which operates from Times Square, the collaboration extends its mission of using theatre as a platform for education and inspiration.
A Mission Beyond the Stage
The company’s work appeals to anyone interested in social justice, regardless of background. This inclusive approach has helped “Justice On Trial” connect with diverse audiences as it travels from city to city.
Looking ahead, the company plans to continue producing socially conscious plays and films. The 100-city tour represents not just a logistical undertaking but a commitment to bringing thought-provoking theatrical experiences to communities that might not otherwise have access to Off-Broadway-caliber productions.
As the tour prepares to launch, the partnership between The Chad Cooper Company, Sheen Magazine, and Chapman Products signals a broader effort to advance culture, creativity, and entrepreneurship while keeping social justice conversations alive through the arts.
