The line between reality and illusion will blur this June as acclaimed mentalist Judah Mantell debuts his theatrical performance “Wonderful and Strange” at The Seven Crest Theater in Teaneck, New Jersey. The one-night-only event promises to take audiences on what Mantell describes as “a journey beyond logic—into the realm of dreams, perception, and the unexplained.”
With over fifteen years of experience performing throughout the Tri-State Area, Mantell has built a reputation for creating immersive experiences that blend psychological illusion with theatrical storytelling. His unique approach to mentalism has earned praise from executives at major companies, including a CTO at Dell’s Media and Technology division who remarked, “An incredible addition to the event. Are you reading my mind right now?!”

The June 29th performance will feature a series of mind-bending experiments where audience members will witness thoughts being read, secrets revealed, and impossible connections formed between complete strangers. Unlike traditional magic shows, Mantell’s performance style emphasizes audience participation, with each moment driven by the thoughts, questions, and imaginations of those present.
“I have no idea how you knew that, you must have been inside our heads!” said a Director at Technicolor after experiencing Mantell’s work at a corporate event.
Based in Bergen County, professional mentalist Judah Mantell has focused his career on what he calls “dreamlike mentalism—both wonderful and strange.” His performances combine elements of psychology, suggestion, and surrealism, creating an atmosphere where, as his promotional materials suggest, “dreams and reality begin to blur.”
Mantell’s journey into the world of psychological illusion began early. He started performing magic at age seven before discovering his passion for mind reading and psychic entertainment in his teens. Today, when not performing, he develops original techniques used by other psychic entertainers worldwide.
The upcoming show, titled “Wonderful and Strange,” at The Seven Crest Theater represents Mantell’s first theatrical production
It will run approximately 70 minutes with no intermission and is recommended for audiences ages 14 and up. Doors open at 6:30 pm for the 7:00 pm performance on June 29th.
The intimate venue setting will allow for the close interaction that characterizes Mantell’s work.
For those unable to attend this premiere event, Mantell continues to book select private events, corporate engagements, and theatrical performances throughout the NYC/NJ area. His performances are particularly suited for discerning audiences seeking entertainment that is intelligent, emotionally engaging, and unique.
Tickets for “Wonderful and Strange” are currently available through Judah Mantell’s official website, where visitors can also learn more about his unique approach to mentalism and psychological illusion.
