A decade-and-a-half after completing his high school internship at WEHA radio, Kyshawn Wyman is stepping behind the microphone as the host of his own weekly program. The Atlantic City entertainment professional, known in the industry as IamYoungHitta, will premiere “IN TRAFFIC” on Friday, August 22 at 5 PM EST, broadcasting on WEHA 88.7 FM and 100.3 FM.
The weekly show plans to feature live interviews, community highlights, and inspirational music, positioning itself as a platform for authentic dialogue within Atlantic City’s creative community. Wyman’s approach to radio programming emphasizes substance over style, reflecting his broader commitment to community engagement.
“This is more than a show—it’s movement radio,” says Wyman. “IN TRAFFIC is about highlighting the energy, drive, and stories that fuel our communities. We’re keeping it real, relevant, and rooted in purpose.”
Stephen Phifer, now Programming Director at WEHA, supervised Wyman’s original internship and has watched his former intern build a substantial entertainment career. The professional reunion brings personal satisfaction for Phifer, who sees Wyman’s return as validation of the station’s mentorship approach.
“Fifteen years ago, back when I was a young gun in my radio career, Hitta was my very first intern,” says Phifer. “I’ve been proud of him for years, and this is a huge honor to work in radio with him again.”
Wyman’s entertainment credentials include performances alongside major recording artists such as DMX, Joyner Lucas, NBA YoungBoy, En Vogue, and New Edition. His work as a DJ, music producer, and sound engineer has established him as a recognized figure in New Jersey’s music scene, earning mentions on “Top 40 Under 40” lists from Atlantic City Weekly and The NYC Journal.

His business ventures center around Hit Nation Empire, the creative agency he founded and leads as CEO. The Atlantic City-based company provides comprehensive entertainment services, from talent development and music production to live event coordination, serving clients throughout the region.
Community outreach represents a consistent thread throughout Wyman’s career. His collaborations with educational institutions, mentorship programs, and the Juvenile Justice Commission of New Jersey demonstrate his commitment to youth development. Additional partnerships with the Atlantic City Boxing Hall of Fame and Showboat Television reflect his involvement in local media initiatives focused on community empowerment.
The launch of “IN TRAFFIC” expands Wyman’s platform for community engagement while providing WEHA with programming that reflects contemporary Atlantic City culture. The station’s management has welcomed the addition, recognizing its potential to attract audiences seeking authentic local content.
Broadcasting accessibility remains a priority for the program. Local audiences can access the show through traditional FM radio on WEHA 88.7 and 100.3, while international listeners can tune in via online streaming platforms or download the “We Have Gospel” mobile application from Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
The Friday evening time slot targets listeners preparing for weekend activities while seeking content that combines entertainment with meaningful conversation. This programming strategy aligns with current radio trends emphasizing community connection and authentic storytelling over conventional broadcast formats.
For Wyman, radio hosting represents a natural evolution of his entertainment career and community advocacy work. His established relationships within both the music industry and Atlantic City’s civic organizations position the show to bridge entertainment culture with local issues and interests.
The program’s emphasis on live interviews and real conversations reflects Wyman’s professional philosophy of prioritizing authenticity in all his creative endeavors. This approach has characterized his work across music production, live performance, and community outreach initiatives.
“IN TRAFFIC” begins its weekly run this Friday at 5 PM EST on WEHA 88.7 FM and 100.3 FM, with subsequent episodes airing every Friday evening. The program joins WEHA’s lineup as part of the station’s commitment to featuring local voices and community-centered programming.
